A Commitment to Quality Craftsmanship
Our standard for all our installation and workmanship is simple and uncompromising: we always do what is best for the homeowner.
What does that mean in practical terms? Here are some examples:
We Recommend Products That Last – When we build and remodel, we use and recommend products that are the best long-term value. For example, a product that is 10% cheaper but lasts only half as long is a poor value.
Also, we’ll send you to suppliers who are skilled at helping you choose the right product for your tastes. Instead of pushing one choice, they’ll give you options, tell you the pros and cons of each, and then step back and let you decide. This ‘no-pressure’ approach keeps the focus on quality, not salesmanship.
A Shortcut Is Not Really A Shortcut – We believe that taking shortcuts in building and remodeling never works out; it is a poor long-term value. Sometimes people think shortcuts make for a more efficient process. Skipping over something important just to save time actually ends up costing more time and money in the long run because ultimately it will need to be fixed.
Details. Details. Details. – At Banks Home Building, we love what we do. And so much of enjoying our work comes down to getting the details right. It is very rewarding to complete a project and know we have built something our clients will enjoy for decades to come.
Listening Is Part of Getting The Best Results – When it comes to craftsmanship, it is also important to be good at listening. All the skills in the world can’t overcome a failure to listen. A true craftsman always aims to deliver that express the tastes of their customers.
Experience Matters – Owner Stuart Banks started this company 26 years ago in 1991. Since that time he has continually honed his skills and maintained the highest standards. Stuart’s love of ‘doing it right’ and his passion to consistently deliver quality results have made him a top choice in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
